My super special kit that makes all this travel blogging and photography possible:
I began my travels with a little Ricoh GR compact digital camera. This little beast was great, it had an APS-C sensor in it (basically a little DLSR without changeable lenses). Sadly it got destroyed because of the beautiful blue ocean. Or in other words I put it in a not so dry “dry bag”, whoops.
Because of the, “incident”, I was left with no other option than to use my iPhone 6 Plus. Luckily I think the pictures turned out great.
Fast forward to the travel interlude. And a whole lot of arguments with an incompetent insurance company. I bought myself a lovely Canon EOS 700D (a DSLR). This camera is marvellous and having it has made me appreciate the art of photography so much more.
As for the rest of the kit. It all helps me keep up to date with my online world. So I can keep writing blogs, and taking photos to make this blog a super special one for you.
When I returned to the UK I replaced the GR with a Canon EOS 700D with an 18.0 effective megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor (interchangeable lenses), which so far I’m totally in love with. I hope it will produce even better results than the GR could have.
