We are in a community wide pain epidemic!

What a week it’s been!

Firstly today “The Pono Growth Chamber” crossed the 400 member mark, and I am simply overwhelmed at the response.

It is such a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment, and I already see the impact it is having on the members.

If you are a member already I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this amazing thing that is growing!

Today I want to talk to you about a problem I see in the community and a possible reason why there seem to be so many problems with a connection beyond the physical act of sex.

There’s a symptom that’s rampant in the community at the moment, and it is cynicism and doubt. Which leads to a lack of compassion and empathy for our fellow members of the community.

I call it a symptom because it is not the cause, the cause I believe is that so many grow up in unsupportive environments, or are thrust into the community and held to unobtainable standards.

These standards scream “YOU MUST BE PERFECT TO BE LET IN”

It’s no wonder people become disconnected and downtrodden.

It’s also no wonder people resort to nasty and judgemental behaviour, because so many are on the defensive, fighting these unachievable standards.

I’m trying to say, to those who feel this way, I FEEL YOU, I understand your pain, and I know there is a better way, a happier way, a more connected way!

I have proof there is a better way, and it’s in the group, the community that we have created together.

Please join us!!

I’m overwhelmed that together we have created a space that lifts people up, that celebrates our differences, and gives room to self-expression.

I have an ask, if you are already a member of the group, share this, and allow others to join community.

If you are not a member yet, please do come on in, we would love to have you!
